Abstract:

I spent the first 10 years of my life in Tangshan, China - a city very known for a big earth quake in the 70s - before moving to a small town east of Vancouver. I went on to study electrical engineering @ UBC, where my friend and I created this visual note taking app that unexpectedly went viral online! Where we caught the attention of some investors like YC and Daniel Gross, which led us to drop out and pursue it full-time. After a couple years, we realized we couldn't compete with the app where you’re reading this right now lol and decided to wrap things up. Since then, I've jumped into doing other startups and misc project, which I'll have to share with you sometime in the future :)
